Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.

to you.
i feel awful. this afternoon, you were all distant and quiet...and maybe..cold? i'm not sure what this is all about but i have this nagging feeling that maybe i'm part of your problem. me and him? me and them? i don't know. i hate this feeling. i'm sorry, ok?

so tired.
maybe i'm tired. SO tired of always being what i am, doing what i do. what if i don't want to be responsible, dependable Patch anymore? what if i want to be like so many other people out there? what if i want to be like the people who depend so much on me? what if i don't want to do it anymore?
what if i just finally, get up and quit?
i'm so tired of being the person that everyone depends on to do the right thing. i'm so tired of being the one who almost loses her head trying to make everything right for the same people who made everything wrong in the first place. i'm so tired of doing everything properly, as they should be.
i hate what i do. but what i hate even more is that i'm not strong enough to NOT do what i do. do you understand what i mean? what i'd love is to just be as carefree and as walang pakialam as the rest of them. why can't i do that? just once?
